Dan McCutcheon: Agility And Focus

For me, yoga was something that I considered doing but never actually took a chance on until Abi's first article came out on Pinkbike.

It completely changed not only my recovery routine but my whole perspective on athleticism and developing a more complete program. Yoga 15 has enhanced my performance both on and off the bike and has helped me greatly improve my balance, ability, flexibility, and focus.

The videos came at the perfect time for me; and by the comments, a lot of other people too! After working a labour induced job 40+ hours a week and riding mountain bikes and dirt bikes on the weekends my body was definitely feeling out of sorts. I had been struggling with recovery and flexibility for most of my adult life and was looking at something to round out my routine.

I had pondered going to yoga classes prior to stumbling onto the tutorial on the homepage but due to scheduling conflicts with my friends it was going to be tough getting to more than one class per week. Your videos have allowed me to do yoga 3-4 times a week after work and have helped tremendously with getting me off the couch, hahaha.

I know it’s going to be a long process but I have seen noticeable improvements with my back pain and core strength, though, I still can’t touch my toes. After working through the lower back pain videos tonight I tried a new one on balance and agility and even though I barely made it through, I still had a smile on my face. It brings a satisfaction and increases my determination in wanting to improve my fitness and myself.
