Backbending

In this back-bending sequence, we flex and extend the spine before moving through progressively deeper and more intense backbends.

  • Backbends are a great counterpose to your riding position so I recommend you include at least one back backbending routine a week in your training program.
  • If you normally practice yoga first thing, give your spine a chance to warm up and hydrate before you do this video.
